It's been a while already but I wanted to capture my thoughts as I said quite a few goodbyes and thank-yous in January and started on a new journey in February.
I quit my first job after college, and I also posted my last blog post as a VOGUE girl blogger.
FNO 2011 Tokyo is and probably will always be the most epic Fashion's Night Out in the history of Vogue.
What made it so special? ALL the editors of Vogue in the world was there. Plus famous designers like Micheal Kors and Roberto Cavalri.
For me it was super special not only because I got to go backstage where all the editors and designers were, but because I got to meet my favorite bloggers.
I discovered the world of "fashion bloggers" in 2011, and I was so fascinated. I found Chiara's blog in 2011 when her blog was starting to get very popular but she was still a college student like I was at that time. She is now one of the most influential and successful fashion bloggers out there, but it was then that I realized that you have to start somewhere to be anywhere. If it wasn't for that, I would never have met so many people that I am grateful to have in my life now.
Friends I met through VOGUE girl are my inspiration. They were like no one I've ever met, following their hearts, making what they love into a career. I don't get to see them too often, but just knowing they are working hard on making it in the crazy world of fashion gets me going:)
When I wrote this post about "doing what you love" , I was very scared. I was scared of not being able to live the life that I dream of. People may say that accepting what you have is a part of life, but that was not what I wanted from life. I am very happy now with my new job, because every single day, I think "I fucking love my job!!!" and that is the best feeling in the world when you're a working girl in a crazy urban city.
I can proudly say from the bottom of my heart, that I do what I love, and I have just gotten started. So many great things are going to come and I can't wait to find out.
