After a spending the night and half day in Jiu Fen, we came back to Taipei and met up with more friends. Here are the things to do/eat in Taipei. We did all of these in less than 24 hours!
1. Ice Monster
No.297, Sec. 4, Zhongxiao E. Rd. Taipei, Taiwan
2. Fortunetelling Street in Hsing Tian Kong
Going to the fortune teller street was one of the most funniest and interesting experience in Taiwan for me. The lady told me some crazy things, and some things that I believe is somewhat true. We'll see if she was right :)
3. Dumplings at Din Tai Fung
This was not the only place we ate dumplings at within the short stay, but Din Tai Fung was one of the best. We went to the one in the 101. It had started raining like crazy outside - it definitely felt like the tropic climate; heavy humidity adding up and when it can't take it anymore, it starts pouring and resets the air for a while.
At the restaurant, we saw

4. Shopping at The Shilin Night Market
After a late dinner, we headed to the Shilin Night Market. It was pretty late - I think around midnight, but it was still full of people and so vibrant. We just walked around, tried some stuff, and people-watched.

5. Relaxing with Taiwanese Shampoo
When I found out about Taiwanese Shampoo, I just had to try it! They will shampoo your hair while you're sitting, mixing shampoo and water to your hair as they massage your head. For some reason, it was super dark (as you can tell in the grainy photos), and super cold at this salon. You can get the Taiwanese Shampoo in other local salons, so I recommend looking up other options too!
